The Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant or FSEOG is another grant program which gives out funds to certain people who are able to demonstrate a real financial need for the money that can be used for educational expenses only. Those who are deemed eligible will be able to receive anywhere from $100 to $4,000 depending on what their own individual need happens to be. This is yet another grant that you will need to fill out a FAFSA application for in order to qualify.
The National SMART or Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant program is another way for you to get the money you need to finally get a degree so you can expand your career opportunities significantly. This grant program is merit-based so you will have to meet certain GPA requirements in order to be deemed eligible. You can get up to $4,000 with this grant which could really help out those single mothers who are struggling financially and need a way of paying for college.
